MOBA has presented the MOBA Accelerator – a fund that we are jointly developing, and whose purpose is to directly support the work and development of the pilot project of housing cooperatives in the region, to the Board of Directors of the Co-operative Housing International, in Berlin.
In our region, housing co-operatives are not sufficiently recognized in either the legal or financial sense, and therefore at this moment it is important to provide initial financial support in other ways – through donations and investments – which will be provided and channeled through the MOBA Accelerator. We believe that this is one of the important steps that will allow the new housing cooperative to “take root” and branch out.
