The first €125,000 is already in place. We are now raising the remaining €875,000 needed to establish the first €1 million foundation of the MOBA Accelerator.
By providing bridge loans at critical moments, the Accelerator helps housing cooperatives secure land or buildings, begin development, and turn ground-breaking plans into real housing communities.
Every project supported means homes removed from speculation and kept permanently affordable for future generations.

The communities we support are pioneering projects operating in environments where cooperative housing finance barely exists. To protect them from excessive financial risk, the Accelerator needs a foundation of reliable capital that can remain committed to the mission for the long term.

Donation Policy
Your donation helps us build financial tools that enable community-led, permanently affordable housing across Central and South-East Europe. We are committed to using these resources responsibly, transparently, and in line with our mission.
How donations are used
Donations support the development of the MOBA Accelerator and related activities that help housing cooperatives and community-led housing initiatives get started and grow.
This includes project preparation, operational activities, bridge financing mechanisms, knowledge sharing, and the development of long-term structures for permanently affordable housing.
Because the needs of projects and communities evolve over time, MOBA Housing SCE retains discretion in how donations are allocated in support of its mission.
What a donation means
A donation is a voluntary contribution made in support of our work.
Donations do not provide financial returns, ownership rights, profit participation, repayment, or other forms of compensation. They are gifts that help strengthen a shared infrastructure for community-led housing.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable once received.
If you believe a donation was made in error, for example because of a duplicate transaction or technical issue, please contact us within 14 days at accelerator@moba.coop. We will review requests individually and do our best to help.
Transparency and privacy
We may share information about overall fundraising progress and the total amount raised, but we will never publicly disclose your name without your permission unless required by law.
Any personal information shared with us will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. We use donor information only for donation processing, legal compliance, administration, and communication related to our work.
We do not sell donor information to third parties.
Compliance
To meet our legal obligations, we may occasionally need to decline or return a donation if required by law or by applicable compliance, sanctions, or anti-money laundering regulations.
