Donation Policy
By making a donation to MOBA Housing SCE, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Nature of Donations
All donations made to MOBA Housing SCE are voluntary and unconditional contributions intended to support the development of the MOBA Accelerator and community-led housing initiatives. Donations are made without any expectation of service provision, financial return, ownership interest, profit participation, repayment, or other compensation.
2. Use of Funds
Donated funds will be used to support the mission and activities of the MOBA Accelerator, including the development of cooperative and permanently affordable housing finance structures, operational activities and related public-interest purposes consistent with the objectives of MOBA Housing SCE.
3. No Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable once processed. If a donation was made in error (for example due to a duplicate transaction or technical issue), requests for review may be submitted within 14 days of the transaction by contacting: accelerator@moba.coop
4. Transparency
MOBA Housing SCE may publish aggregate information regarding fundraising progress and total funds raised. Individual donor names will not be publicly disclosed without prior consent.
5. Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance
MOBA Housing SCE reserves the right to decline, return, or refund any donation where required by applicable law, compliance obligations, sanctions rules, anti-money laundering regulations, or internal risk assessment procedures.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data collected in connection with donations will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Donor information will be used solely for purposes related to donation processing, legal compliance, accounting, donor communication, and organizational administration.
MOBA Housing SCE does not sell donor personal data to third parties.
7. Legal Status
MOBA Housing SCE is registered in Croatia as a European Cooperative Society (Societas Cooperativa Europaea – SCE) in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No. 1435/2003.
